Sesión presentada por Michèle Lemieux y Sophie Le Tétour, dedicada a las producciones más recientes de pinscreen en Canadá y Francia, ilustrando la transmisión de conocimientos sobre este instrumento, a través de su renacimiento en Francia y el propio trabajo de Lemieux, quien hablará de su experiencia con la pantalla de alfileres.

Este cuento abstracto y filosófico utiliza la pinscreen de Alexeïeff-Parker como metáfora de las partículas que componen el universo. A través de cuatro cuadros que exploran los pensamientos de su personaje, la cineasta se adentra en las profundas reflexiones de un hombre corriente, cuyas preguntas se alinean con la eterna búsqueda del sentido de la humanidad.

De pie frente a una ventana abierta, una mujer mira las nubes que oscurecen el horizonte. Inmóvil, lucha contra el resurgir de sus recuerdos. Mientras tanto, un cuerpo emerge de entre las nubes.

A lecture and screening devoted to recent productions on the pinscreen in Canada and France to illustrate the transfer of knowledge on this instrument, through the rebirth of the pin screen in France and the work of Michèle Lemieux, who will discuss her experience on the pinscreen.
